ARTIST NOTE 
Sebastián Errázuriz Rozas 


He was born in Santiago, Chile, working as a visual artist during the last few years, his interest is in the architectural landscape, represented through mixed media and collage, which he uses to compose various scenes.

He has been selected for international exhibitions in the USA (Boston, NY), Argentina (Buenos Aires) and the UK (Glasgow, London).

What experiences, spaces, places or concerns inspire you to create your work?
 
I am interested in decontextualizing and visually disintegrate the scenic construction, where there are no leading elements and it is established from the gaze of an observer.

In my experience I embrace different symbolisms, which are present in everyday life, I could not say that only one thing inspires me, because I observe and build scenes with images of real situations mixing them with abstractions.

I express the time factor in the coexistence of multiple actions and situations that have no connection between them, but that are happening simultaneously in the same place.

I am interested in questioning the logical sense of how we live today.

2. Tell us about the works you are currently working on.

I am currently working on new series, in which I mix elements of the landscape. I am interested in formulating my own aesthetic, in which different perspectives can be interpreted. I work from a graphic view as part of a whole.
