Desde el año 2000 ejerce como docente en universidades chilenas.\u003cbr\u003eHa sido merecedor de las becas : Arte Actual, Amigos del Arte, Fundación Andes, Fondart y Fondo del Libro.\u003cbr\u003eSus obra se encuentran en colecciones públicas y privadas en Chile y en el extranjero.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSocio fundador de\u0026nbsp; Cooperativa de Artistas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Chile. Posteriormente el viaje se trasladó a la relación de pareja como metáfora de éste, mientras que a partir de 1998, comenzó a girar en torno a las nociones de \"cuerpo colectivo\" y de \"pertenencia\". Esto hizo posible que mi trabajo indagara en las relaciones entre lo cotidiano y las imágenes vernáculas.\u003cbr\u003eA partir de la palabra que gesta las relaciones entre las personas y de una innumerable cantidad de objetos antiguos comprados en los más diversos lugares, se ha generado una especie de banco de imágenes, reunidas de una forma muy visceral, como si se tratase del producto de un Photoshop arcaico y básico. Así mismo : el absurdo, la contradicción y lo onírico se amalgaman en la búsqueda de un lenguaje plástico de la mano de la crítica social y el humor.\u003cbr\u003eDe capital importancia es la influencia de la ciudad como aglutinador y laboratorio de estas obsesiones, desde ahí se rescata : su luz, sus colores, sus diseños ,sus muros y su olor.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe issue that has hovered around my work is the sublimation of skin. In the beginning, the journey was solitary and self destructive, centering all energy on the idea of protagonism, the trance between life and death. Later the journey shifted towards couple relationships as a metaphor for it, while it began moving around the notions of \"collective body\" and \"belonging\" in 1988. This allowed my work to investigate the relations everyday and vernacular images.\u0026nbsp;\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003eStarting from words gestating the relations between people and of an endless number of old objects bought at the most diverse locations; a kind of image bank has been generated, brought together very viscerally, as if it was the product of an archaic and basic version of Photoshop.
